Since 2022

Founded in 2022 by the Keros Family, we are dedicated to the mission of supporting the thousands of animals currently living in shelters and rescues to have a better experience on their journey to adoption and finding their forever homes. And the need for support has been on the rise in recent years. Since March 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic started adoptions from shelters went through the roof, but now the opposite is happening.

In addition to supplying essential supplies to local shelters and rescues, the Michigan Cause for Paws also supports advocacy and awareness to increase the adoption of these animals as well as decrease the euthanasia rate within the state.

We know that education, outreach and information sharing will move us closer to our vision for the future to support the almost 200 animal shelters in Michigan. We will continue to work with shelters and rescue organizations to implement best practices, decrease overall length of stay in the shelter and improve the quality of life for the homeless pets while they are in the shelter.
